Hi, I'm Brenda Bullard and I have been making ropes and handles for tournament water skiers since 1992. I graduated from Las Cruces High School in 1976 and from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Marketing in 1980. My son Jordan, turned 16 on June 2nd and will be a Junior at Las Cruces High School. He played basketball as a sophmore both on the JV and Varsity team. This year he is also going to play football. The questions I get asked most often are: Is this your only income? YES Do you still ski? NO I tournament skied as a 3-eventer for six years, starting at age 29, and was working on 28' off, tricked about 2000 points, and jumped 77 feet. After I had Jordan I just really never got a chance to ski. I am now in training for the Senior Olympics and plan to compete in the 800 meter and shot put. For fun, I also play mandolin and sing in a bluegrass band. My son plays the string bass and sings. I enjoy keeping up with the sport through my ropes and handles and thorougly enjoy your water ski stories. |
